Exclamation dual monitors for GW possible?

I recently got a new 19" monitor. My old 17" monitor works fine. I have a Geforce 7600 GS which supports dual monitors. I have been trying to get GW to run with 2 monitors. So far the only mode I manage to get is horizontal stretch. But my character is blocked out between the 2 monitor frames. Anyone know the best way to use 2 monitors for Guild Wars?

Well, that's basically what dual monitors will do; it will emulate 1 large monitor w/ the division point in the middle. There's really no way around that.

The only other option would be to have GW on your main monitor, and have the other monitor up for things like Guild Wars Wiki or something. But to have the game span both monitors *does* span both displays...

I was hoping I can play it in dual mode instead of horizontal stretch mode. When I'm in Dual mode the secondary monitor is non-responsive. Just shows a desktop wallpaper. I can't get my mouse cursor to scroll out of the Guild Wars (primary monitor) game and into the secondary screen.

My ultimate hope was to be able to have the game run in panoramic setting except my character being centered in the primary screen. This would allow me to put the mini-map, radar, and other small menus opened off to the side (secondary monitor).

Well, unless your video card specifically has some sort of off-center setting, then it will always have the border of the 2 monitors as the center.

Another possible solution would be to run in windowed mode and stretch the window to be more on one screen than the other, then it will have your character *not* on the border of both screens...

Default Matrox

Matrox appears to have a solution for you. They are under their Graphics eXpansion Modules. They have a couple for dual monitor support and also for triple monitor support.

Guildwars is listed as a supported game.
